Trung Khla Khmum Temple (ប្រាសាទទ្រុងខ្លាឃ្មុំ)

Trung Khla Khmum Temple was built in the 10th century AD. It's located in Khla Khmum Village, Khnong Phnom Commune, Svay Leu District, Siem Reap Province. The temple is made of bricks and has three towers that all face east. The middle tower is slightly higher, while the two side towers are now damaged and have collapsed. The temple itself is quite small compared to other temples.
On the east side of the temple, there are three ponds. Based on the remains of an eight-sided decorative column and the carved brick designs, which include patterns shaped like a cat’s paw and dragon (naga) heads, we can guess that this temple was built after the Kulen style period, likely sometime in the 10th century AD.

Ta Krobei Temple (ប្រាសាទតាក្របី ឬប្រាសាទដង្វាយ)

Ta Krobei Temple, also called Dang Vai Temple, is an ancient sandstone temple on the Cambodia-Thailand border. The temple is shaped like a cross and has an entrance on each side. Inside, there is a naturally formed linga (a sacred stone).

It was most likely built in the 11th or 12th century, but because there are no inscriptions or carvings, the exact date is unknown. What makes the temple special is that it is still in very good condition and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

The temple is located in Chheu Slab Village, Kouk Khpos Commune, Banteay Ampil District, Oddor Meanchey Province, CAMBODIA, about 109 km from Anlong Veng Roundabout Market.

O Pha Ong Temple (ប្រាសាទអូផ្អុង)

O Pha Ong Temple is an ancient Khmer temple located on Kulen Mountain. It was built during the reign of King Jayavarman II, mainly using bricks as construction material. The temple is surrounded by beautiful natural forests, which add to its charm.

The temple is about 59.5 km from Siem Reap Town. To get there, you start from the provincial hall and follow Apsara Road, then turn left after about 4.5 km to join the National Road 67. Continue for approximately 23.5 km, then turn right for about 2 km to reach the Kulen Mountain roundabout. From there, drive up the mountain for about 26 Km, then turn right for another 2 Km to arrive at O Pha Ong Temple.

On Kulen Mountain, there are several other temples such as Damrei Krab Temple, Thmor Dab Temple, Neak Ta Temple, and many more, all of which were also built during the reign of King Jayavarman II. Most of these temples were made of bricks, face east, stand on brick platforms, and are surrounded by brick walls.

A special feature of the O Pha Ong Temple is an eight-sided sandstone pillar built in the Kulen Style. This pillar is considered a prototype of Kulen Style architecture. Today, it is preserved at the National Museum in Phnom Penh.
